Rome - Ostello Bello Roma Colosseo

If you're looking for a Hostel in Rome, look no further than Ostello Bello Roma Colosseo. This hostel is my favorite of the many hostels I’ve been to thus far. For one, the Hostel is in a good location; close to many restaurants, metro stations, bus stops, and only about a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum. The facility itself is very welcoming with friendly staff, and the property itself is beautiful. There is an amazing rooftop area, and a lovely outside patio where you’ll find many of the guests gathering at night. The rooms are clean and well kept, and they use the Goki app for guests to access rooms. This allows getting into the rooms to be easier, and prevents the loss of room keys or someone else from picking it up. The common area has a bar that serves drinks late into the night, and just to the side has a game room as well. This is without a doubt one of the best hostels not only in Rome but all of Italy.

Venice - Anda Venice

The only hostel you should consider when taking a trip to Venice is Anda Venice. Only a two minute walk from the Venezia Mestre train station, you won’t have a hard time with carrying luggage and can catching the frequent trains that travel to the historic city of Venice about ten minutes away. The hostel is also near a handful of restaurants and has a grocery store down the street for any essentials you may need. The property feels new and modern, with many amenities around the property. They have a large kitchen common area, an open office space with computers, and an outdoor patio just to name a few. The rooms themselves feel clean and maintained, and have properly working sinks and showers. At night the place comes alive, as they have an outside bar and a lively atmosphere. They seem to have frequent events, as the two nights I was there they had a live band the first night, and a beer pong tournament the next night. Anda Venice is hands down a great all around place to stay when traveling to Venice.

Milan - Ostello Bello Grande

Another Ostello Bello property, but Ostello Bello Grande is a great stay in Milan! Only about a two minute walk from Milano Centrale, the property is in a great spot for travelers arriving by train. There is a tram stop just down the road as well, which will take you to many areas of the city. The inside of the facility has a nice bar and common area, as well as a garden area in the back of the property and a game room down stairs. Depending on what time of the year you’re planning on going, the spaces can feel cramped in some area of the facility. Overall the hostel is nice and in a good location for travelers. A number of restaurants are nearby with great food, so you won’t have to go far to experience a lovely Milano meal.

Florence - Hotel Romagna

A great stay in Florence can be found at Hotel Romagna. The property is about five minutes from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, and a short walk to the famous Florence Cathedral. The staff there was super friendly and upon arrival gave us a map with their recommendations for where to visit, and wrote down a few restaurants they liked. This place is also the only facility in this list that only offers private rooms. Even though they only offer private rooms, the price per night is still a good deal especially if you are splitting the room with someone else. The place also offers breakfast in the mornings, which could save you money on food. The facility is a bit older, but is not poor quality. They do not have an elevator and can only access the room by the stairs, so if you are unable to carry luggage up a few levels I wouldn’t recommend this place. The rooms are nice, and have private bathrooms as well. Overall this place is a great bargain if staying in Florence and wanting your own private space.
